Lorenzo Eric Salvio

Hello, my name is Lorenzo Salvio and I am currently the Software Developer Lead at Wela in Atlanta, Georgia. I began this position in January of 2019 shortly after completing my 16 weeks at the DigitalCrafts Immersive Bootcamp in Atlanta with the September '18 cohort. I am a 22 year old, originally from California. I first began coding one year ago with a hobby course on Udemy. At the time, I was attempting to break into the L.A. music scene as a DJ, and I wanted to build myself a website. Coding for the sake of coding quickly took over, and music production became the hobby. In the spring of 2018, I decided to prioritize studying coding full time, and stopped pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Business at California State U, Fullerton. I moved to Atlanta to attend DigitalCrafts and I can say with full confidence that it was the right decision. Since I began my journey with programming and development, I have fallen in love with everything that I have done. For the first time in my life, I feel like an eager student every day. When I'm not coding, I enjoy having deep discussions with friends, writing music, and reading books on psychology.
